The Plano/Collin County Branch of the American Association of University Women is offering scholarships from money earned during the 2009 AAUW Holiday Tour of Homes.
GRADUATING
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP
(Awards up to $1,000)
Candidate must be a woman resident of Collin County or graduating from an accredited
high school located
in Collin County and enrolling in an accredited undergraduate degree program
at an accredited
college or university for the 2010-11 academic year (minimum of 12 credit hours
per semester).
She must have a minimum 3.4 grade point average.
JUDY
JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR A MATURE WOMAN
(Awards up to $1,000)
Candidate must be
a woman resident of Collin County or attending a college/university campus in
Collin County, 21 years of age or older, enrolling in at least six credit hours
per calendar year in a qualified undergraduate or graduate degree program for
the 2010-11 academic year.
CONTINUING
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
(Awards up to $1,000)
Candidate must be
a current undergraduate female from Collin County or attending a college/university
campus in Collin County, with a cumulative B average, attending on a full-time
basis (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester) an accredited four-year or upper-level
college or university for the 2010-11 academic year.
BIGGERSTAFF
COLLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
(Awards up to $500)
Candidate must be
a woman resident of Collin County of any age who is graduating or has graduated
from an accredited high school and is enrolling in an accredited undergraduate
degree program at Collin County Community College for the 2010-11 academic year
(minimum of six credit hours per semester).
PLANO/COLLIN
COUNTY AAUW BRANCH SCHOLARSHIP
(One $500 award)
Candidate must be
a Plano/Collin County Branch AAUW member who is enrolling for a minimum of six
(6) credit hours in a qualified undergraduate or graduate degree program for
the 2010-11 academic year. The applicant must have completed one or more years
of AAUW membership.
